pic 1MAD DOG is a Brighton-based boutique facility specialising in VIDEO PRODUCTION including 3D ANIMATION, MOTION GRAPHICS, POST PRODUCTION and GRAPHIC DESIGN.

MAD DOG has also developed concepts from scratch for TV Commercials, Viral and Print Campaigns as well as TV and Film projects.

We have worked with blue chip companies worldwide including UNILEVER, BBC, NHS, BABY COW, PALM PICTURES, SAATCHI, SANCTUARY RECORDS, The F.A and THE INTERNATIONAL PROPERTY AWARDS.

JAMIE CROWE MUSIC VIDEO
Jamie Crowe former "Rootjoose" front man and creator of "Rairbirds" dropped into our "kitchen" for a quick rendition of his latest songs. Such is the quality of Jamie's work that we thought we'd better record the session.... impromptu as it was. Some of the results turned into this nice low budget music video.

We have now completed the film with the help of BBC Post Production. Daniel Elms provided an excellent music score and we are ready to get it out there in front of an audience. Next stage: Worldwide festivals. All very exciting.

David anxiously seeks the whereabouts of his unstable brother, Richie, who threatens to commit a violent act. David's desperate race against time gradually reveals some buried truths and leads to a shocking, unexpected conclusion.

Acid Rain was accepted for competition in the New York Film Festival and subsequently received it's UK television premiere on Sky TV.

We were approached to conceptualise a promotional video for Beaulieu Abbey covering it's history for the Beaulieu Exhibition. Although the budget and schedule were small we managed to successfully acquire costumes, actors, horsemen, and none other than Tim Piggott-Smith to provide his mellifluous tones, as well as construct a digital Abbey and surrounding land.

This studio multi-camera shoot was quite a challenge due to the comprehensive and wordy script which detailed the minutiae of a football disciplinary hearing. A great cast and crew rose to the challenge and scored!

The brief was to interpret the song around the bizarre performances of ice skater Gregory Wittrock. Our idea was to have Tim under the ice, singing to the various characters that Gregory portrayed. All filmed in Streatham ice Rink!

Shungor is a sword n' sorcery comedy tale of an inept buffoon who believes he is a hero. Designed as a very cost efficient production for the web, the pilot was shot in a tiny green screen chromakey studio and CG backgrounds and effects were added in post. We are currently pitching the concept to web TV companies.

Following a successful GMTV weather bumper campaign for Clinton Cards, we were commissioned to produce their Christmas TV Commercial. We went for a very effective slighly illustrative animation style which went down well.

Working in collaboration with Writer/Performer Graham Duff we produced this comedy half hour as a showcase. Steve Coogan lent his talents to the project and it was subsequently developed into a series by the BBC starring Johnny Vegas. The long-running BBC3 comedy is now into it's 4th series... all as a result of our pilot!

Created as weather bumpers for GMTV, this low-budget campaign was a challenge in that we had to create seasonal weather conditions all in one day!

This animated comedy was designed as an adult comedy series in the vein of Trumpton. We were commissioned by Baby Cow Productions to create a promotional piece as a comedy song and video for the 2006 world cup as a tie-in with mobile phone downloads. The video was subsequently showcased on the TV chat show "World Cuppa" with Chris O' Connell. The web series is on development.
